Bihar: Rahul Gandhi To Attend RJD’s Jan Vishwas Rally

As Rashtriya Janata Dal’s (RJD) ‘Jan Vishwas Rally’ in Patna draws near, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi left for Patna today. According to party sources, the entire city of Patna has been participating in the event since last night, and everyone is eager to hear from the leaders of Mahagathbandhan.

To participate in the RJD rally, Rahul Gandhi took a day off from his Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Madhya Pradesh.

Akhilesh Prasad Singh, the president of the Bihar Congress, stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would lose this election.

“BJP is going to lose here. Since last night, the whole of Patna has been involved in the rally. There is not a single Panchayat who has not come here to attend it. Everyone is excited to listen to the leaders of Mahagathbandhan and to defeat all candidates of the BJP. Nitish Kumar’s relevance in Bihar politics has diminished, and he is not a factor affecting it anymore,” he said.

Shakeel Ahmad Khan, another Congressman, highlighted how the BJP is scared by the rally’s great success.

“This rally (RJD’s Jan Vishwas Rally) is a tremendous success and hence the BJP is rattled. CM Nitish Kumar has no value in what he says. He (PM Modi) must have made false promises in his rally that the people of Bihar have been listening for the last 10 years, no one trusts them now,” he said.

In the meanwhile, before the party’s Jan Vishwas Rally in Patna, supporters of the RJD gathered at the home of former Bihar CM and RJD leader Rabri Devi.
Former Bihar CM Lalu Prasad Yadav RJD leader was also present.
Jairam Ramesh, the Congress General Secretary in-charge of communications, provided details on the Patna rally in which the Congress leader will take part.

“Tejashwi Yadav, Akhilesh Yadav, the Congress president, and Rahul Ji will all be present. It can be said that this is a massive rally, essentially an India rally,” he said.
