It is a rare moment for the Election Commission of India. Most of the contesting political parties in Tripura assembly poll 2023 profusely praised the strict arrangements made by the Election commission. Generally opposition parties always make allegations against Election commission for not taking appropriate steps about their complains. But in Tripura ruling BJP and opposition Congress and Left parties came out with statements praising the role of Election commission. Every political party feels that people should vote for their chosen candidates overcoming intimidation. Voting took place even after midnight.
