The Chennai police apprehended 24 people regarding the sale of Indian Premier League (IPL) tickets in black near the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai’s Chepauk.
The police overall confiscated 62 tickets and a case worth Rs 65,700 from the guilty parties. The match was played between Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals on 12 April. The police have lodged the case under the relevant section.
