The ‘Aam Aadmi Party’ (AAP) staged a state-wide protest against the arrest of Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh. In Jaipur, AAP workers marched towards the BJP office while raising slogans against the Modi government at the Center. The police attempted to stop the workers and leaders during this, leading to a confrontation. Some party workers and leaders were taken into custody and brought to the Vidhyadhar Nagar police station. After the protest, AAP officials submitted a memorandum to the District Magistrate on behalf of the President.
AAP officials said, “The Central government is trying to suppress the voice of Sanjay Singh due to his continuous criticism against the Modi government and Adani. However, Sanjay Singh is a dedicated soldier of the AAP who will not bow down to the Modi government and will not be silenced.” They questioned, “Why the Modi government has not answered how many top BJP leaders have had ED and CBI raids at their homes, how many corrupt leaders has the BJP shown the way out of the party, including Ajit Pawar, Himanta Biswa Sarma, and others?”
The furious party workers added, “The Modi government at the Center does not have answers to these questions because the BJP has always sheltered corrupt politicians. The true face and character of the BJP are now in front of the public, which is why the Modi government is constantly conspiring against AAP leaders.” They further said that the Modi government at the Center is forgetting that its dictatorship will not last much longer, and the people of the country will give a necessary answer to the most corrupt Modi government and BJP in the upcoming elections.
