Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Karnataka on 12 March where he will dedicate and lay the foundation stones of projects worth around Rs 16,000 crores, a release from the Prime Minister’s Office stated.
In addition, the Prime Minister will dedicate and lay the cornerstone for significant road developments in Mandya. Additionally, he will dedicate and open a number of Hubbali-Dharwad development projects. The project entails widening NH 275 to six lanes through the Bengaluru-Nidaghatta-Mysuru segment. The 118-kilometer-long project’s development cost came to approximately Rs. 8,480 crore. It will serve as a catalyst for the socio-economic growth of the area.
The world’s longest railroad platform will be dedicated to the country by the prime minister at Sri Siddharoodha Swamiji Hubballi Station. The Guinness Book of World Records recently acknowledged the record. The 1507-meter-long platform was constructed for roughly 20 crores. The electrification of the Hosapete-Hubballi-Tinaighat segment and the upgrade of Hosapete station will be dedicated to enhancing connectivity in the area. The electrification project, developed at a cost of more than Rs 530 crore, ensures continuous train operation on electric traction.
Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for various projects of Hubballi-Dharwad smart city. The total estimated cost of these projects is about Rs. 520 crores.
Further informing about the foundation stone Jayadeva Hospital and Research Centre to be laid by PM Modi. In order to further augment water supply in the region, Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for the Dharwad Multi Village Water Supply Scheme, which will be developed at a cost of over Rs. 1040 crores. He will also lay the foundation stone for Tupparihalla Flood Damage Control Project, which will be developed at a cost of about Rs. 150 crores.
