PM Modi Surveys Wayanad Landslide Affected Areas

Prime Minister Narendra Modi conducted an aerial survey of the landslide-affected areas in Wayanad, Kerala, before visiting the disaster site. He observed the landslide’s origin at Iruvazhinji Puzha and the most severely affected locations, including Punchirimattam, Mundakkai, and Chooralmala.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi undertook an aerial survey of the landslide-affected areas in Wayanad, Kerala, before physically visiting the disaster site. During the survey, he examined the origin of the landslide at Iruvazhinji Puzha (River) and assessed the worst-hit areas of Punchirimattam, Mundakkai, and Chooralmala.

The Prime Minister’s visit is part of a broader effort to understand the extent of the damage and coordinate relief measures for the affected communities. The aerial survey allowed him to gain a comprehensive view of the disaster’s impact before arriving on the ground to meet with local officials and residents.
