Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the country’s first seaplane in Gujarat on 31 October, the day of Sardar Patel Jayanti.

On the occasion of Sardar Patel birth anniversary, the first seaplane in India will start from Ahmedabad to Lake No. 3 near Narmada Dam in Kevadia.

The Ekta Parade will be held at the Statue of Unity on 31 October.

According to sources in the Chief Minister’s Office, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to spend the night in Kevadia on 30 October. In order to make Kevadia area a corona free zone, those who enter this area will have to undergo a compulsory corona test.

Narmada district health department has deployed 46 teams for this operation. So far, 3,000 corona tests are done every day and everyone is being issued a yellow card which will have a validity of only 48 hours.

If it is over 48 hours and the person wants to come to SOU (Statue of Unity) for a job or another work, they will have to undergo the Covid test again. Tests for Covid will be carried out ahead of the event. Instructions have been given by the PMO and CMO for this.

In addition, 18,000 people will be tested. The district health department has also ordered corona testing kits for 10,000 people. Narmada District Health Department’s 46 teams including Tilakwada and Garudeshwar have started testing. A total of 4000 tests have been conducted from October 17 to October 24. In which 70 employees came positive and they have been sent for treatment at Covid-19 Hospital at Rajpipla.

Construction of jetty and water aerodrome near Lake No. 3 of Narmada Dam is almost complete. The floating jetty has been lowered into the lake. There is a terminal for guests to board and disembark. This is connected to the ground by a bridge.

It can carry a load of 65 tons. Boya marking has been done in a 3 km area of the lake so that the seaplane can easily reach the jetty as per its markings and no mishap can occur.
