In a pointed criticism of the Congress, Prime Minister Narendra Modi asserted that India faced stagnation under the “corrupt” rule of the grand old party, emphasizing the nation’s current trajectory with confidence.
Addressing a ‘Viksit Bharat Viksit Rajasthan’ program via video conferencing, PM Modi expressed concerns about the Congress, stating, “Congress is corrupt; it can’t think of a future; India failed to thrive under Congress.”
He further highlighted the transformative period India is experiencing post-2014 and criticized the Congress for its singular focus on anti-Modi sentiments, accusing the party of fostering division through such narratives.
PM Modi also commended the people of Rajasthan for their warm reception of French President Emmanuel Macron during the Republic Day celebrations.
During the program, the Prime Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for various development projects across multiple sectors, totaling over Rs 17,000 crore.
The projects encompassed areas such as roads, railways, solar energy, power transmission, drinking water, and petroleum and natural gas.
The event, organized at around 200 locations across Rajasthan, witnessed widespread participation from beneficiaries of various government schemes, along with the presence of state government officials and representatives.
