Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 26th National Youth Festival on Thursday at Hubbali on the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.

The theme of the festival is ‘Viksit Yuva Viksit Bharat’.

Meanwhile, on PM Modi’s arrival he was accorded a warm welcome. PM Modi also held a roadshow with people thronging the roads, waving at him and showering flowers on him.

Moreover, the 26th National Youth Festival was organized by the Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and sports in collaboration with the Karnataka government. The 26th National Youth Festival will be held at Hubballi-Dharwad from 12-16 January.

However, every year the National Youth Festival is held to provide exposure to our talented youth.

Taking to Twitter Prime Minister’s Office tweeted, “It brings diverse cultures from all parts of the country on a common platform and unites the participants in the spirit of Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat. This year, the Festival is being held in Hubballi-Dharwad in Karnataka from the 12th to the 16th of January, with the theme being “Viksit Yuva – Viksit Bharat.”

The festival will witness the Youth Summit in which more than sixty eminent experts will participate and plenary discussions on five themes stemming from G20 and Y20 events viz will be held.

Furthermore, during the roadshow of PM Modi a youngster in Karnataka’s Hubballi breached the security.
