Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed his greetings to the nation on the momentous occasion of the 75th Republic Day, posting on X, “Best wishes on the special occasion of the 75th Republic Day. Jai Hind!”

President Droupadi Murmu is set to lead the country in the grand celebrations marking the journey of Amrit Kaal, initiated after the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ commemorating 75 years of India’s independence. The 90-minute parade will spotlight the rich cultural diversity of Viksit Bharat, the self-reliant military strength of ‘Aatmanirbhar,’ and the burgeoning influence of Nari Shakti. French President Emmanuel Macron will grace the event as the Chief Guest.

The ceremonial proceedings will showcase the classic display of the nation’s defense forces, featuring impressive cavalcades, mechanized columns with state-of-the-art equipment, marches of contingents, and a presentation of diverse culture symbolizing unity in the nation’s diversity.

With the twin themes of ‘Viksit Bharat’ and ‘Bharat – Loktantra ki Matruka,’ this year’s parade aims to include around 13,000 special guests, fostering Jan Bhagidari and providing an opportunity for people from all walks of life to participate in the celebrations.

Scheduled to commence at 10:30 am and lasting approximately 90 minutes, the Republic Day parade will kick off with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the National War Memorial. There, he will lead the nation in paying solemn tributes to the fallen heroes by laying a wreath.
