On Friday afternoon, a tiny plane crashed on a Florida roadway, killing two individuals, according to Fox News, quoting the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, which confirmed the claim.
According to the FAA, the Bombardier Challenger 600 business jet crashed on Interstate 75 in Naples, Florida, with five persons on board.
The plane took off from Ohio State University Airport at 1 p.m. ET, according to FOX 35.

The pilot requested an emergency landing at Naples Airport (where the jet was headed) shortly after 3 p.m. ET, saying that both engines had failed.
The sheriff’s office said that all southbound lanes were closed, as well as the northbound lanes.
Emergency responders reacted to the scene, and the Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board are now investigating the collision.

Further details are awaited.
