A complaint has been filed against Udhayanidhi Stalin, son of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, in Muzaffarpur of Bihar.
Advocate Sudhir Ojha, resident of Lahladpur of Sadar police station, has filed a complaint regarding Udhayanidhi Stalin’s statement comparing Sanatan Dharma with dengue-malaria. He has accused him of hurting the religious sentiments of Hindus.
The court has fixed the next date of hearing on September 14.
Earlier, a Supreme Court advocate on Sunday filed a complaint with the Delhi Police against Udhayanidhi Stalin, Sports Minister of the Government of Tamil Nadu and son of the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, citing his controversial comment on ‘Sanatan Dharma’.
Complainant Vineet Jindal had claimed that Udhayanidhi Maran, in a speech, made a provocative, inflammatory, derogatory, and inciting statement against Sanatan Dharam.
According to the complainant, Udhayanidhi Stalin, speaking at an event, called for a ‘Sanatan Abolition Conference’.
Udhayanidhi Stalin remarked, “I congratulate the organisers for calling the conference as “eradication of Sanatan dharma’ instead of opposing it.” “There are some things that we have to eradicate and we can’t merely oppose. Mosquitoes, dengue, corona, and malaria are things that we cannot oppose, we have to eradicate them. Sanatan is also like this. Eradication and not opposing Sanatan has to be our first task,” he added.
