Twenty-four-year-old Filipino gymnast Carlos Yulo clinched a gold medal at the recently concluded Paris Olympic Games, marking only the second Olympic gold in the history of the Philippines. In recognition of his remarkable achievement, Yulo has been showered with gifts from various companies and national organizations. Among these, Megaworld, a leading real estate corporation in the Philippines, announced that every Filipino Olympian who won a gold medal would be rewarded with a two-bedroom apartment in their McKinley Hill township. This prestigious complex, located in Taguig, is valued at 32 million Philippine Pesos.
On August 14, Megaworld unveiled photos of the luxury 100-square meter, three-bedroom condo unit, which comes fully furnished with home appliances including a refrigerator, microwave oven, four-burner cooktop with an oven, washing and drying machines, four smart televisions, and even a game console. The real estate corporation shared in a caption that “Two balconies that can be accessed both in the living room and the master’s bedroom offer views of the township and the rest of the property. Among the standout pieces that adorn the living room is a custom-made nesting coffee table that bears a replica of the gold medal at the Paris Olympic Games. The unit also comes with its own maid’s room with toilet and bath, as well as its own parking slot.”
Additionally, several videos of Yulo, 24, touring the house and posing with the custom-made coffee table featuring a replica of the Paris 2024 Olympic gold medal have gone viral on social media. Another post highlights Yulo’s dedicated parking slot, complete with its own “Certificate of Title,” located in a prime spot near the elevator lobby.

In a further show of appreciation, Yulo has been granted a lifetime supply of ramen by various national restaurant chains, free university credits by the University of Mindanao, and a lifetime offer of free consultations and colonoscopies from a gastroenterologist.
