The survey revealed that Maui received 34% of the votes, edging out Paris, which garnered 33%. While Paris remains a popular choice, American couples now favor more secluded and intimate destinations for a romantic escape.
In fact, 69% of participants agreed that smaller, hidden locations offer a more romantic experience than larger, well-known cities. Around 45% of respondents claimed that such lesser-known places are ideal for fostering an intimate connection.

Moreover, 76% of respondents felt that vacationing together signified a serious step in their relationship, and 72% agreed that spontaneous trips with their partner were exciting and romantic.
