In a major boost in the wake of heightened India-Pakistan tensions, Indian forces captured two pilots of the Pakistani Air Force alive in independent episodes following the shootdown of F-16 fighter aircraft. One pilot was arrested near Akhnoor in Jammu, and the other was arrested near Jaisalmer in Rajasthan.
