Pakistan High Commission in India announced on Friday that it has granted visas to 154 Indian pilgrims to visit the sacred Shree Katas Raj temples in Pakistan’s Chakwal district.

According to the High Commission’s statement, the pilgrimage is set to take place from February 24 to March 2, 2025.
Charge d’Affaires Saad Ahmad Warraich extended his best wishes to the pilgrims, hoping for a spiritually enriching journey. He also reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to facilitating such visits in line with its policy of fostering interfaith harmony and mutual understanding.
This pilgrimage is being organized under the Pakistan-India Protocol on Visits to Religious Shrines of 1974, which allows thousands of Indian devotees to travel to Pakistan each year for religious observances.
