Pakistan Army Turns to Intense Firing Across LoC
As per officials, the Pakistan Army launched unprovoked firing, including shelling from artillery guns, from locations on the other side of the Line of Control (LoC) and the International Border (IB) facing Jammu and Kashmir. The shelling was said to be unprovoked and sent the residents of the border regions into panic.
Medical Response and Civilian Impact
GMC Baramulla medical staff reacted promptly, rendering emergency care to injured persons from the shelling. The condition of the young boy is still being monitored.
Security Forces on High Alert
Security personnel deployed along the LoC are keeping a high level of vigil in the wake of the shelling. The government has assured the citizens that sufficient precautions have been taken to avoid any further harm to civilians and provide security.
The cross-border shelling has again highlighted the vulnerability of peace along the border and the threat to civilians living in the vicinity of the LoC.
