At least eight civilians, including a child, were killed and 35 others injured in Indian missile attacks on Wednesday morning, the Pakistani military said. Two people were also reported missing.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Pakistan’s Army’s media wing, said that the casualties took place in Pakistan-administered Kashmir. “The casualties occurred due to Indian strikes on the Pakistan-controlled Kashmir region,” ISPR director general stated.
Indian troops conducted precision strikes under Operation Sindoor with a specific target in mind — to target the top leadership of terror groups Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba, sources informed ANI.
As per these sources, the areas targeted in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) were specifically targeted to neutralize the key leaders behind planning the terrorist activities against India. These operations were conducted after the recent Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 individuals, including one Nepali citizen.
