Pak Terrorist Killed after major infiltration bid foiled on LOC


 In Another successful operation, the alert Indian army troops and the Jammu and Kashmir police effectively foiled major infiltration bid on Line of Control (LOC) in Keran sector of Kupwara district in Kashmir.
While one terrorist was neutralised, other two terrorists managed to escape towards Pakistan occupied Kashmir (POK). The police said “Indian Army and Jammu Kashmir Police launched a massive cordon and search operation in the forward area and right after a specific input about the suspicious movement of a group of three terrorist was spotted in hunt was started in which one terrorist of Lashkar E Toiba terror group identified as Altaf killed, whereas two other terrorist flew back towards PoK. One AK 47 rifle, 1 pistol, magazines, arms and ammunition recovered from the encounter site search operation still continues in the Keran sector LOC area”.
The encounter came a day after Director General of Police Jammu and Kashmir Dilbagh Singh said that the infiltration attempts may increase in the coming days as militant terror handlers may try to push terrorists across the border before snow blocks the way.
