A female passenger on a SpiceJet flight bound for Bagdogra reported an instance of inappropriate behavior by her fellow male passenger, as stated by the airline’s spokesperson on Sunday. The spokesperson mentioned that the cabin crew promptly took action by relocating the accused passenger’s seat. The incident took place on January 31 during SpiceJet flight SG 592 from Kolkata to Bagdogra. The spokesperson noted, “The cabin crew promptly intervened to address the situation.”
The accused co-passenger, however, denied any wrongdoing. The airline revealed that the female passenger chose not to file a written complaint upon reaching Bagdogra airport, as the accused passenger apologized in the presence of CISF (Central Industrial Security Force) staff. The airline’s spokesperson stated, “The female passenger left the airport without filing any written complaint, hindering further investigation by SpiceJet.”
Upon arrival at Bagdogra airport, both passengers received assistance from SpiceJet security staff and were escorted to CISF officials. The female passenger insisted on action against the co-passenger, leading to the apology. The spokesperson emphasized that the cabin crew actively supported the female passenger throughout the incident, ensuring her comfort and safety. Additional details are anticipated as the situation unfolds.
