A substantial number of women have embraced the Shiv Sena, particularly the Shinde faction, in the Panvel region. The remarkable work carried out by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has significantly contributed to attracting women to the saffron party, as stated by District Head Ramdas Shewale in Kalamboli.
Expressing their contentment with the government’s initiatives, these newly-inducted women party members were warmly welcomed by Ramdas Shewale and Kunda Gole. Shewale highlighted the impactful measures undertaken by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s administration, such as the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jan Arogya Yojana, which provides medical expense coverage for citizens and has recently increased its limit to five lakhs.
Shewale also commended the government for its groundbreaking decision to offer a 50 percent discount on ST (State Transport) travel to all women. He said, “Since the state government is effectively working towards women’s empowerment, women are immensely satisfied with the government under Shinde’s leadership. Across the entire state, Shiv Sena, particularly the women’s segment, is making substantial inroads. In Kalamboli as well, numerous women have chosen to actively participate. This party induction event culminated at the Shiv Sena central office.” The occasion was graced by several dignitaries, including Women District Head Kunda Gole, Panvel Taluka Head Bharat Jadhav, Women Taluka Head Sandhya Patil, Kalamboli City Head Tukaram Sarak, Women Kalamboli City Head Jyoti Patil, Panvel Sub-City Head Machindra Zagde, and other officials who were present to commemorate this significant development
