“The feature will ensure that users can read and understand voice notes in their preferred language. Additionally, it will improve the accuracy of transcriptions by using language-specific speech recognition. Users will also have the flexibility to choose a different language for specific voice notes as needed,” the report states.

Beyond this, WhatsApp is introducing three significant updates across its platforms for iPhones, Android, web, and PCs, aimed at enhancing the calling experience:

The upcoming update will address this by automatically highlighting the active speaker and displaying them prominently on the screen.
