‘What is happening in India’, PM Modi questioned BJP chief Nadda after landing in Delhi

Early on Monday morning, Prime Minister Narendra Modi successfully completed his six-day trip to the US and Egypt. Meenakashi Lekhi, the union minister of state for international affairs, as well as JP Nadda, the head of the BJP, welcomed him at the Delhi airport. He questioned Nadda and other authorities about the situation in India shortly after his return.

He asked Nadda ji, “What’s happening in India? How is going here?” Nadda replied him that party leaders were reaching out to people with the report card of the nine years of his government, and the country is happy.

Furthermore, BJP MP Parvesh Verma also told reporters that PM Modi asked about the country. He questioned, “What was happening in the country and how was the party’s public outreach programme going on? We updated him about that,” he said.

During his foreign visit, PM Modi signed many important landmark agreements there. BJP leaders and party MPs from Delhi such as Harsh Vardhan, Hans Raj Hans and Gautam Gambhir also arrived at the Delhi airport to welcome him.

Modi started his five-day visit on June 20. From June 21 to June 24, he was in the US. He chaired over a historic celebration of the 9th International Day of Yoga on June 21 at the UN headquarters to start up his tour to the US. Later, President Biden welcomed him at the White House in Washington, DC, on the red carpet. After their historic meeting, Modi addressed Congress and the Bidens hosted a state dinner at the White House in his honour.

Later on Saturday, after ending a high-profile state visit to the US at President Joe Biden’s request, Modi arrived in Cairo. Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly met him at the airport. It is also the first official visit by an Indian prime minister since 1997. He was in Egypt for two-days state visit at President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s invitation.
