West Bengal: CID detains a man with counterfeit money worth Rs 94,000

On Thursday, the Murshidabad district’s Special Operation Group of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), West Bengal, arrested one person in connection with the seizure of counterfeit currency notes valued at Rs 94,000.

According to a CID officer, a team acting on the information. During the raid ake Indian currency notes having a face value of Rs 94000 were found, and Md Ohidul Islam (33), a suspect, was taken into custody.

A case has been filed under the appropriate sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
