“We are confident that we will win in all the states” says Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge claimed on Wednesday that the grand old party will establish governments in all five states that will go to polls next month, and that there is anti-incumbency in the Bharatiya Janata Party-ruled Madhya Pradesh. Kharge told ANI in Kalaburgi that the Congress-led administrations in Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan are performing their jobs effectively and that the people there are not experiencing any troubles.

In November, Assembly Elections will be held in Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, and Mizoram in single or two stages. Mizoram will vote on November 7, Chhattisgarh on November 7 and 17, Madhya Pradesh on November 17, Rajasthan on November 25, and Telangana on November 30. The vote will be counted on December 3 in all states.

“Congress’ preparations for the elections in five states are going well. We are confident that we will win in all the states. There has been an anti-incumbency for the BJP owing to mainly inflation, and unemployment,” Kharge told ANI. He said that people in Madhya Pradesh are turning against the Shivraj Singh Chouhan-led BJP government.

At the Centre, the Congress president accused the BJP of failing to fulfill any of its election pledges. “Whatever promises were made, the BJP did not keep even one of them.” “Whether it’s unemployment, doubling farmer income, or investment,” he explained.
Kharge, who is visiting his home district of Kalaburgi in Karnataka, went on to accuse the Central government of ignoring Karnataka. “No central projects are being given (to Karnataka),” he told reporters.
