On the occasion of Teacher’s Day, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar addressed a gathering in Kota and dedicated his life’s achievements to the teachers of the Sainik School Chittorgarh, where he had studied. Although he was born in his village, he considers his real birth to be at the Sainik School in Chittorgarh. Reflecting on the importance of gurus (teachers) in one’s life, he quoted the couplets of Sant Kabir and emphasized the blessings that come from the guidance of a guru, saying that God Himself bestows those blessings.
He noted that Kota has become the knowledge centre of India today and is the hub of young aspirants from across the country. He praised the youth as the future warriors of 2047 who will transform India into a developed nation.
Reflecting on India’s progress in recent years, the Vice President highlighted that India has climbed the ladder and now stands as the world’s fifth-largest economy, surpassing Britain, which had colonized India for centuries.
