‘Viksit Bharat@2047: Voice of Youth’ program to be held at Punjab Raj BHAVAN TODAY

In the premises of Punjab Raj Bhavan, we are going to see an unprecedented confluence of visionary and thoughtful stalwarts who are all set to give wings to the aspirations of a Viksit Bharat. A grand event named ‘Viksit Bharat@2047’ is being organized at Punjab Raj Bhawan on Monday 11th December in which more than 40 Vice Chancellors of various universities, Heads of Institutions and more than 300 Principals will participate.
During the event, the first of all virtual launch of ‘Viksit Bharat@2047 Ideas Portal’ will be done by the Honorable Prime Minister of India. After which he will join the event virtually and address the academicians, intellectuals and youth gathered in the premises of Punjab Raj Bhavan and the other Raj Bhawans of the country.
After the National Level Program, the State Level Program will commence in which there will be a panel discussion and question answer session.This event will mainly have discussion sessions on three topics including Empowered Indians, Good Governance & Security and Engaging Youth for Transformed India: Approaches & Insights in which the academicians will brainstorm on these topics.
Shri K.B.S. Sidhu IAS, former Special Chief Secretary Punjab will moderate these sessions.In this program Prof. Renu Vig, Vice Chancellor, Panjab University, Chandigarh, Prof. Jai Gauri Shankar, Director IISER, Mohali, Prof. Raghavendra P. Tiwari, Vice Chancellor, Central University of Punjab, Bathinda, Professor Rajeev Ahuja, Director, IIT Ropar, Prof. P Nagarajan, Director IIM Amritsar, Dr Rajiv Sood, Vice Chancellor, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot, Dr Dinesh Kumar Singh, Executive Director, AIIMS Bathinda, Shri Baldev Setia, Director PEC, Chandigarh and Dr. Vivek Lal, Director, PGIMER, Chandigarh will present their views.
Banwari Lal Purohit, Governor of Punjab and Administrator of UT, Chandigarh will specially address the youth of the state and call upon the youth to share their vision of Viksit Bharat so that the common dream of Viksit Bharat@2047 can be realized.
