UP CM witnesses mock drill conducted by police

Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, was present for the mock drill, which was held on Thursday at the Vidhan Sabha and Lok Bhavan to improve readiness for countering terrorist attacks. A member of the NSG was seen briefing CM Yogi on the readiness to thwart terrorist attacks as the two also interacted.

According to an official statement, in order to counter terror attacks, the UP Police and the NSG are conducting an exercise, ‘Gandiva-V’ on September 13 and 14, under which the state administration, UP police and NSG will conduct mock drills at different public places in Lucknow.
