Union Minister Nitin Gadkari commenced 4th Parivartan Yatra

The fourth Parivartan Yatra of the BJP in the state began on Tuesday at the famous religious site of Gogamedi in Hanumangarh. Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, flagged off the journey with the chariot. This transformation journey will cover a distance of 2110 kilometres in 18 days, covering 50 assembly constituencies.
After starting from Hanumangarh, the journey will continue to Sri Ganganagar, Bikaner, Churu, Jhunjhunu, and Alwar, covering 50 assembly constituencies. In the previous elections, BJP only won in 13 out of these 50 assembly constituencies, while Congress got 30 seats, and others got 7. Now, the BJP aims to win all 50 assembly seats through this journey. After the conclusion of the transformation journey, a large rally will be held in Jaipur on September 25, which will be addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari addressed the crowd on this occasion and hinted at making Vasundhara Raje the Chief Minister again, suggesting that the development would be much greater if she were in charge.
He emphasised the importance of providing water to farmers in 8 districts of Rajasthan to enhance agriculture.
Gadkari also mentioned the significant expansion of the national highway network in Rajasthan and the potential for industrial growth and employment in areas with improved infrastructure. He encouraged farmers to become energy producers, along with food producers, through initiatives like ethanol production from crops. The Union Minister pointed out the plight of farmers who had committed suicide in Rajasthan and criticized the state government for not addressing their issues.
While giving a speech at the occasion, he criticized the alleged corruption within the government, using the term “Lal Diary” to suggest corrupt practices.
This transformation journey holds significant political implications as it aims to bolster the BJP’s presence in Rajasthan, a state with upcoming assembly elections. The party is working to improve its performance, especially in areas where it struggled in the previous elections.
