Two killed, three injured after ambulance collides with dumpster

Two women, one of whom was pregnant were killed in Madhya Pradesh’s Chhatarpur district after the ambulance collided with a dumpster. Three others were severely injured in the incident.

The deceased were identified as Ramdevi and her sister-in-law Ramkali. Ramdevi who was pregnant had gone into labour and was on her way to the district hospital during the accident. The injured who were identified as Daya Ram, husband of Ramadevi, Babulal Adivasi and Khembati, were admitted to the district hospital. Their condition is said to be critical.

As per the district traffic in charge Kailash Kumar Patel, “The police registered a case and further investigation is underway.”
