Tragic Road Accident Claims Life of 11-Year-Old Girl in Bandipora, Kashmir

A devastating road accident in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Wednesday resulted in the untimely death of an 11-year-old girl and left four others injured.

The tragic incident occurred when a three-wheeler load carrier, bearing registration number JK15A 6334, overturned at Churtangoo Ajas area in Bandipora. The vehicle mishap claimed the life of a young girl identified as Furqana, aged 11, on the spot.

Following the accident, emergency responders rushed to the scene and promptly transported the injured victims to the Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) for urgent medical attention. The severity of the injuries sustained by the four individuals necessitated immediate medical intervention.

As of now, the identities of the injured victims have not been disclosed, and they are currently undergoing treatment at SKIMS.

Local authorities and law enforcement agencies are investigating the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident. This unfortunate event underscores the importance of road safety measures and vigilance to prevent such accidents in the future.
