Authorities stated that a minibus collided on the National Highway in the Ambala region of Haryana on Friday, killing at least seven members of a single family and injuring over twenty more. On their way to the Mata Vaishno Devi temple, the fatalities were pilgrims.
Dr. Kaushal Kumar, Medical Officer at Civil Hospital Ambala Cantt, stated that the incident occurred early today on the Ambala-Delhi-Jammu National Highway. He also confirmed that over 20 passengers were injured in the crash.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident, and further details are awaited.
