Tragic accident claims life of 23-year-old youth in Kupwara

A devastating accident in Lolab, Kupwara, resulted in the loss of a young life on Monday afternoon, as a 23-year-old youth succumbed to injuries sustained after his bike collided with an electric pole.

Reports received by GNS indicate that Aubaid Khan, son of Rayees Ahmad Khan, tragically lost control of his two-wheeler, leading to a collision with the electric pole and causing him severe injuries.

Despite immediate efforts to evacuate the victim to a nearby hospital, where medical personnel rushed to provide assistance, the young man was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Confirming the incident, a police official stated that a case has been registered to initiate further investigations into the circumstances surrounding the accident.

The tragic loss serves as a poignant reminder of the importance of road safety and the need for heightened awareness and caution while traveling on the roads. Authorities urge all citizens to adhere to traffic regulations and exercise vigilance to prevent such heart breaking incidents in the future.
