MUMBAI: A 36-year-old trader in Kamothe, Navi Mumbai, fell victim to a con artist posing as a millionaire, losing Rs 38 lakh in the process. The fraudster, who gained the victim’s trust through a mutual acquaintance, offered a Korean-made videography camera worth Rs 65 lakh at a discounted price.
