Today in Rajya Sabha, FM Sitharaman will deliver Supplemental Demands for Grants for J&K.

The Supplemental Demands for Grants in respect of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir for 2022–2023 will be presented to the Rajya Sabha by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman today.

The Rajya Sabha’s business was interrupted on Monday as the House adjourned for the day amid commotion over Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s comments about Indian democracy made in London. The government demanded Gandhi’s apology, while the Opposition party objected to the rulings.

The Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar declared the second adjournment of the House after the members of the treasury benches and the Opposition persisted in yelling insults at one another and making a commotion.
