Tiger Kishan dies from cancer in Lucknow Zoo

Tiger Kishan at the Nawab Wajid Ali Shah Zoological Park in Lucknow passed away from cancer on Friday. Earlier on 1 March 2009, authorities rescued Kishan who was brought to the zoo over 13 years back. Around the Dudhwa National Park Tiger Kishan become a threat to the human population. A preliminary checkup was done by Lucknow Zoological Park in which it was found that Kishan had Hemangiosarcoma which had spread to near his ear and mouth. However, after his death staff paid an emotional tribute.
