With the election date approaching, various political parties have become active in different assembly constituencies. All political parties are sending observers to assess the situation and gather support from their workers. During this process, opposition from party workers has also started to surface.
A meeting organized by the Congress party in a private garden in Chaksu witnessed a face-off between supporters of the sitting MLA and aspirants for the party ticket. Supporters from both groups engaged in a heated exchange of slogans. It’s worth noting that PCC Secretary and in-charge Shankar Dungayach were present at the meeting, engaging with the party workers.
During this confrontation, one group of supporters brandished sticks and raised slogans demanding that outsiders be excluded, and local candidates be given the ticket. This led to a tense atmosphere at the venue. Later, observers and other leaders, seeing the situation deteriorating, left the scene. Senior party leaders intervened to defuse the situation.
Candidates aspiring for the ticket, including MLA Ved Prakash Solanki, Ashok Tanwar, Narayan Lal Sanwaria, Krishna Hardiyawas, Satyanarayan Dholy, Ritesh Bairwa, Geeta Devi, along with a significant number of ticket aspirants, have submitted their biodata for consideration.
