On Sunday, the Congress unveiled its initial roster of fifty-five candidates for the November 30 Telangana assembly polls. Revanth Reddy, the state president and member of parliament, will run from the Kodangal Assembly seat, while Adam Santosh Kumar will run from Secunderabad. The Election Commission of India (ECI) declared earlier this month that the Telangana Assembly polls would take place on November 30. The poll body also stated that the votes will be counted on December 3. In the upcoming assembly election in Telangana, the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi, the Congress, and the BJP are expected to compete in a triangular fashion. In the 2018 Assembly election, BRS garnered a majority of votes and secured 88 seats out of 119.
