Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, shared a video on Saturday, with PM Modi. In the video, she was heard saying “Hello from the Melodi team.” Both the leaders were also seen laughing in the clip. Interestingly, the term ‘Melodi’ (Meloni+ Modi) was coined by netizens following the two leaders meeting in New Delhi for the G20 summit in September last year.
G7 leaders pledge support to Infrastructure projects
Meanwhile, on Friday, the G7 nations have pledged support to infrastructure projects like the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC), as noted in their summit statement, or the G7 Communique, released at the end of the three-day G7 Summit, which PM Modi attended. The Communique was published on Friday evening after the traditional group photo at the luxurious Borgo Egnazia resort.
