T20 World Cup: Rahul Dravid’s Heartwarming Gesture To Canada Cricket Team Goes Viral

The T20 World Cup 2024 match between India and Canada was abandoned due to a wet outfield, but an interaction between India’s head coach Rahul Dravid and the Canadian cricket team has gone viral on social media. The match, called off without any play, ended Canada’s journey in the competition while India advanced to the Super 8.

After the match was abandoned, Rahul Dravid visited the Canadian dressing room and was presented with an official team jersey signed by all members. Dravid also gave a motivational speech to the Canadian players.

“Thanks a lot. Want to acknowledge and appreciate the fantastic contribution that you have made to this tournament. I think all of us recognise the struggles and the challenges that you all have to go through to be able to play this sport,” Dravid said in his speech to the Canadian cricket team stars in Florida.
