Sushant was planning to quit film industry: Siddharth Pithani

Actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s friend Siddharth Pithani, in his statement to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), has narrated the chain of events leading up to the actor’s death on 14th June.

In the statement which has been accessed by The Daily Guardian, Siddharth recalled all the finances of Sushant Singh Rajput and revealed that before his death, Sushant’s behavior had drastically changed.

Pithani informed the CBI that Sushant was planning to leave the industry. He wanted to invest his money in various other projects and was planning to start a ‘Dream 100 project’ where a charity match between MS Dhoni and Roger Federer will be played. He wanted to adopt the orphans and provide them free education.

In January 2020, a day when Siddharth reached Sushant’s bedroom, Sushant hugged him and cried. While crying, he told him that he is going to sell everything in the house and stay at his Pavna farm.”
