State identifies 9 Air Routes, signs MoU for operation

The Haryana civil aviation department announced the signing of three Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) during an aviation conference in Hyderabad. Among these agreements, one involves a partnership between Alliance Air Company and the Haryana government, aiming to establish nine air routes within the state. These routes, identified under a viability gap funding scheme, will be operated by the aviation company. Notably, two flights originating from Hisar are set to operate three days a week, enhancing connectivity in the region.

Additionally, plans are underway to initiate air services from Ambala following the completion of a civil terminal. This strategic move underscores Haryana’s commitment to expanding its aviation infrastructure and improving accessibility for residents and travelers. By fostering collaborations with industry stakeholders and leveraging innovative funding models, the state aims to bolster its air connectivity network, thereby facilitating economic growth and enhancing mobility across the region.
