‘Spectacular Chhath with Haryana’s CM in Panipat alongside Manoj Tiwari’

Chief Minister of Haryana, Manohar Lal reached Panipat to participate in the Chhath festival at NFL Ghat as the chief guest. Famous Bhojpuri actor and BJP MP Manoj Tiwari has also arrived with him.
CM offered Arghya (obeisance) to the setting sun. Generally, there is a tradition of offering water to the rising sun, but only on Chhath Puja, Arghya is offered to the setting sun.
Earlier on Saturday, Additional Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Dr. Amit Kumar Aggarwal visited the venue. He says that this is a historic day because about 30 organizations of the people of Purvanchal are organizing this program together. Those fasting from Sunday morning will remain fasting and dehydrated. On this day, at the time of Prashaad, fruits, banana kadli and thekua are placed in the soup and offered to the Sun God.
