In a tragic incident on Tuesday morning, six individuals lost their lives when their car collided with a parked truck on National Highway 58. The victims, identified as Shivam, Parsh, Kunal, Dheeraj, Vishal, and another resident of Shahdara, Delhi, were en route to Haridwar at the time of the accident.
The collision occurred at Rampur Tiraha in Muzaffarnagar around 4:00 a.m. Emergency response teams, including police and rescue workers, swiftly reached the scene to extract the deceased bodies trapped under the truck, deploying a crane for assistance.
Vinay Gautam, CO Sadar, reported, “We received information about an accident on Shahpur Cut, NH-58. All six deceased were residents of Shahdara, Delhi. The police have notified the relatives and sent the bodies for a post-mortem. The damaged vehicles were cleared from the spot, restoring smooth traffic flow. The current law and order situation at the scene is normal.”
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed deep sorrow over the tragic loss of lives in the road accident. The Chief Minister conveyed condolences to the bereaved family, urging district administration officials to promptly transport the injured to hospitals and ensure they receive appropriate treatment.
