Sikh Student Federation objects to scenes in ‘Animal’ movie

The Sikh Student Federation has expressed objection to a scene in the Bollywood film “Animal.” Karnail Singh Peer Mohammad and President Parminder Singh Dhingra of the federation stated that in one scene towards the end of the film, actor Ranbir Kapoor is seen blowing cigarette smoke on a Sikh, while in another scene, he is shown holding a knife to a Sikh’s beard.
The Youth Federation has written a letter to the Central Board of Film Certification regarding this, demanding the removal of both controversial scenes from the movie.

Objection to the Song “Arjan Valley”
The federation has also objected to the famous song “Arjan Valley” from the film “Animal.” The song “Arjan Valley” has been used in the film for criminal and gang-related contexts, while the character in the song was a fighter. There’s also objection to the usage of the name “Kabir” in the film. The federation has urged the censor board to take action on all these scenes to prevent any negative impact on people.

Ranbir’s Previous Film Records Broken
Before the release of “Animal,” Ranbir Kapoor’s career-best film was “Sanju,” released in 2018, which earned a worldwide collection of 586 crores. His second best film was “Brahmastra,” which earned 410 crores. Now, “Animal” has surpassed both these films to become Ranbir’s highest-grossing film.
