Advay Hire, the deputy leader of Shiv Sena’s Thackeray faction, was arrested on November 15 in Nashik. The arrest is related to a case involving the alleged defrauding of a loan taken from Nashik District Bank for the construction of the Renukadevi Cooperative Sutagiri in Malegaon. The Nashik Police’s Crime Branch detained Hire in Bhopal following the rejection of his anti-arrest bail application by the High Court. Responding to the arrest, MP Sanjay Raut criticized the Shinde government and Minister Dada Bhuse, claiming it was politically motivated. Raut accused Bhuse of misusing the government system and filing multiple cases against Hire and his family, attributing the arrest to political pressure.
