Police officials have recovered 802 grams of narcotics Charas from the accused named Diwan Chand who hails from Banjar, Kullu.
Under section 20 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (ND&PS) Act at Kumarsain Police Station the case has been filed.
However further investigation into the matter is underway.
Earlier on Thursday, the Shimla police arrested one accused from which 600 gms of opium and 98.60 gms of charas were recovered by police.
Meanwhile, the arrested accused has been identified as Hum Bahadur and police also recovered Rs 71,000 cash along with 600 gm opium, and 98.60 gm charas.
However, to address the drug trafficking issue prevailing in the state Director General of Himachal Pradesh Police, Sanjay Kundu, met the DG of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), SN Pradhan in Delhi met on Wednesday.
