In a significant operation, police and security forces have successfully dismantled a hideout in the Surankote area of Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir. The operation, carried out in the Sangla Khoni Nahalla area under the jurisdiction of Police Station Surankote, resulted in the recovery of a cache of arms and ammunition.
Official sources have confirmed that the seized items include a 51 mortar, three mortar shells, a pistol, and three pistol rounds. The uncovering of this hideout comes as a result of a targeted search operation, which was initiated based on credible intelligence received by the security forces.
