Security arrangements tightened in Ayodhya ahead of ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of Ram Mandir

The ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of Ram Mandir on January 22, 2024, has prompted an increase in security in Ayodhya. “We have made all the arrangements,” IG Ayodhya Zone Praveen Kumar stated to ANI regarding the security measures. We continue to upgrade our technology, which helps us stay vigilant in addition to using our workforce.”

Several drones will be in use during the event, and we’ll use anti-drone technologies to keep an eye out for any unauthorised drone flying activities. IG Kumar continued, speaking about the safety measures, saying, “We have also integrated AI into our cameras.” Despite the obstacles, the IG Ayodhya Zone expressed optimism that the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ will be well-organized.

When questioned about the availability of transit, IG Kumar stated, “Our goal is to provide transport arrangements that people don’t encounter any issues. To make sure that nobody is inconvenienced, we will notify the public in advance about the diversion plans.”

In order to bolster security in anticipation of the Ram Temple’s “Pran Pratishtha” on January 22, 2024, CCTV cameras have also been deployed across Ayodhya.

On January 22, 2024, Ayodhya will host the opening of the Ram Temple. The Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirath Kshetra Trust has determined that on January 22, in the next year, between noon and 12:45 pm, Ram Lalla will be crowned in the sanctum-sanctorum of the Ram Temple.

For the event, 4,000 saints from different denominations have been invited by the trust. The Ram Temple in Ayodhya will be inaugurated next year, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be present. A week before to the major event, on January 16, 2019, Vedic rites will be performed for the Pran-Pratishtha (consecration) ceremony of Ram Lalla (baby Lord Ram) in Ayodhya.

The principal ceremonies of Ram Lalla’s consecration ceremony will be conducted on January 22 by Lakshmi Kant Dixit, a Vedic priest from Varanasi. Ayodhya will celebrate the Amrit Mahautsav from January 14 to January 22. There will also be a 1008 Hundi Mahayagya, where thousands of followers will be fed.

In Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, a number of tent cities are being built to house thousands of pilgrims who are anticipated to assemble for the ceremonial consecration of the Ram Temple. The Sri Ram Janambhoomi Trust states that accommodations will be provided for 10,000–15,000 persons.
