SC verdict confirms Jaya’s remark that AIADMK will rule for 100 years

Edappadi K Palaniswami (EPS) on Thursday hailed the Supreme Court’s decision to allow him to continue as the AIADMK general secretary and said that the judgment has confirmed the former chief minister J Jayalalithaa’s remark that the party will rule for 100 years. “I was in doubt about how SC judgment would be. The veils under which DMK’s B team was functioning were torn by the Supreme Court’s verdict. Jayalalithaa said in the Assembly that this party will rule for 100 years. This has been confirmed by the judgment of the Supreme Court. This judgment has proved god’s divine,” EPS said.
He said that it happened with the blessings of Maruthur Gopalan Ramachandran and Jayalalithaa. “Yesterday, full night, I didn’t sleep due to fear. A few called and spoke to me that the judgment should be favour by our side. It has happened with the blessing of our leaders MGR and Jayalalitha,” he said.
D Jayakumar, leader of the EPS faction said that all leaders except for OPS, Sasikala, and TTV Dinakaran are welcomed into the party. “For the past 6-7 months our cadres suffered a lot. Today’s judgment has put an end to it. God’s blessing is with us so that we have got the Judgement in our favour.
AIADMK is not a family party it is common people’s party,” he said.
“All party workers are happy due to today’s verdict. Tomorrow is the 75th birthday of Amma (Jayalalithaa), her blessings have been showered on us. Except for O Paneerselvam, Sasikala, and TTV Dinakaran, all leaders are welcomed to AIADMK,” he added.
